ADDIE Model: The Key to Custom Content Development and A Best Project Handler

One of the most common Instructional Design models is called ADDIE.
Are you familiar with the ADDIE design model? You may be or not.

But,  ILT (Instructor Led Training) /WBT (Web based Training) /CBT (Computer based Training) and even VCT (Virtual Class Training) all use the same common Instructional Design Model.

In this process, each step Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation have its task that would be done, roles that team members of any project play and estimated time.

As you can see in the above image, the most time of project is spent on doing analysis, designing design documents and developing  medias. But, Implementation and Evaluation steps use less time.

Some times, when there is no more budget for a project, the evaluation step is not applied on the project.

In this process, you can see the roles of Project Manager, Instructional Designer,  and Subject Matter Expert are most important. And also, an instructional designer evaluates each step perfectly.

Due to the power of this model, I like to apply it while I am developing elearnnig modules.
Do you also?
